Federation Square

Federation Square a unique cultural precinct bringing together a mix of attractions along with shops, restaurants, cafes, bars and function centres. Melbourne Visitor Informational Centre at Federation Square can advise you about upcoming events and the Guided tours of Federation Square.

Queen Victoria Market

Stallholders offer a wide variety of fresh produce including fish, seafood, fresh meat, meat products, fresh fruit and vegetables. The Market's Food Court is ideal for breakfast, lunch or a quick snack offering a wide choice of food. Sunday is the most popular day at Queen Victoria Market with shoppers who are looking for variety goods, clothing and specialty foods.

Crown Entertainment Complex

The Crown Entertainment Complex is one of the largest facilities in the Southern Hemisphere offering an incredible array of gaming options, restaurants, bars and night clubs. As a premier entertainment venue open 24 hrs a day Crown has something to suit every need and match every mood.

Observation Desk

The Observation Deck is situated on top of the Rialto building one of Melbourne's tallest structures located in the heart of the city. Southbank promenade stretches along the southern bank of the Yarra River from Princess Bridge to the Crown Casino. Melbourne Aquarium

Melbourne Aquarium showcases a collection of over 10000 exotic marine animal's everyday of the year. The indoor ocean aquarium is open from 9.30am until 6.00pm daily with last admission at 5.00pm.

National Gallery

The gallery features both modern and historic art from countries around the world the services provided for National Gallery of Victoria visitors includes lectures, floor talks, art workshops, gallery tours, short films, live performances, activities for children and special events.

Melbourne Zoo

Nestled amidst sprawling open playing fields and parkland on the northern edge of the city Melbourne Zoo has over 300 species on display everyday of the year. Friends of the Zoo provide free tours and answer visitors' questions between 10.00am and 3.00pm daily.

MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground)

The MCG is home to the Melbourne Cricket Club, several Victorian AFL teams and the AFL Grand Final. The Boxing Day Cricket Test is one of the long standing annual Australian sporting events played at the MCG. On non-event days between 10am and 3pm visitors can take a tour of the MCG, visit the new MCC Museum and the MCC Library. Tours start from Gate 3 in the Olympic Stand.

Melbourne Museum

Melbourne Museum situated in the Carlton gardens adjacent to the Royal Exhibition building is the home of Phar Lap an Australian race industry icon. The museum collection covers a variety of nostalgic Australiana including our social history, local development of technology, culture of the indigenous people and natural sciences. A visit to the Melbourne Museum is a rewarding educational experience for visitors of every age; opening times are 10am to 5pm daily.
